Which means I had the impulse to make a plush.
I wanted to be able to cuddle my ants!
This particular one is based off of prenolepis imparis, with the light gaster and dark stripes, which happens when they store a lot in their social stomachs.
Also it's just really cute.
This one's not that big, only about eight inches from head to the tip of the gaster. The legs make up half of it pff.
I'm going to make a bigger one for halloween, with a sugar skull patterned gaster and a white skeleton-looking body it's going to be really cool. I do want to try more species though, I think it'd be neat to see what they look like as plushies. ;u;
But tbh I don't need more stuffed animals laying around ahaha. I suppose if anyone wanted one for their favorite species I could do it for cheapish, it'd be fun <3
