So for the past year I've REALLY wanted a large camponotus species like pennsylvanicus and I was wondering what time of day is better to find them, I know an area where there are plenty but I haven't found a queen yet. I normally go about 2-3 pm.

In my area, they often fly late afternoon and all evening.

I caught my C. Pen in the morning at 11:00 AM I haven't ever been able to find queens in the middle of the day only in the mornings or afternoons I would go after a rainstorm and there should be plenty
