Should I hibernate my ants now? I currently have a camponotus colony that has been eating a lot of food recently but now, they don't go to their out world anymore.

wait till you stop seeing ants outside. in the spring when you see ants outside again, you can bring them out of hibernation

My Camponotus and Formica both have done what you have described. I am in the process of getting my colonies into hibernation but it seems my Tetramorium and Crematogasater are still doing their thing....but to you question, id say yes, it is that time and certainly sounds like they know it too lol. I live in TN and so I'm experiencing the same weather/climate. Anyways my friend, good luck.
