Hello,

I think the main reason i got into ant keeping is because of the similarities between the species and I know that the behaviour of the Aliens was chosen based on that of ants and termites.

I mean just look at them, my ants and the movies. Besides the gory scenes, there are parts of the movie where the drones interact with the queen and can really make you wish you had a miniture, to be safe, colony of xenomorphs.

I watch how the workers bring larvae to the body parts of insects i give them and i think of the aliens implanting their young larvae/facehuggers in their prey.

Apparently, it has been admitted by the makers of the sci-fi Aliens movies that they were inspired by the lives of parasitic wasps and ants, so yeah you're right!
