Feed Queen?

Hello everybody! In April I caught a Fire ant queen. She laid eggs a few weeks ago and has a pretty decent brood pile. I believe she may be eating her larvae as there has only been eggs for a while now. Should I feed her a drop of honey and risk her eating or brood or should I leave her be for a few weeks?

Leave her be for 3 weeks. How long is a while?

Try checking on her less, she could be eating her brood because she is stressed.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

I would say about a month now. I will check on her less. I have her wrapped up in a towel in my closet so ill leave her be.
