My mission to find a Pheidole queen!

I really want to find a Pheidole queen next year, does anyone have any suggestions for doing this? For example what habitat they are found in, any useful articles you know about for finding them, and what time of year they are found.

All help is apricated, thanks.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

Morning, around 7am, look on sidewalks. Only fly in the morning. Rarely, they will fly around 9Pm. Sidewalks and near colonies is where to find most.
When you accidentally reply to yourself…
