Acording to antwiki, P. imparis colonies are polygynous. But even with this information and the fact that you are trying to 'change the pharomones' of the males, I still don't believe this experiment will be successful.

I mean even if they do mate without "changing the pheromones" it will be a success. I just want them to mate.

There is ways to do so with invicta but I will not be naming them because I find it inhumane and crazy to breed them
