Should I make a journal for my three Colobopsis queens?
Two already have workers but I don't know their species and the founding queen is C. leonardi (exploding ant).

If you lived in Australia I’d send you one. I have two of them. They kept tugging on the cotton so I placed a small piece of drinking straw in the test tube and one of them moved right in and settled down immediately but the other refuses. I gave them both a feed of honey which was well received but the stubborn one was gaster beating and I was lucky enough to get that on video. She wouldn’t touch the meal initially as she was angry at me. She’s settled down now and has moved her brood to the rear of the chamber. Such a fascinating hobby and a marvellous species.

I see wild colonies, and they truly are fascinating.Ants101 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 4:14 amIf you lived in Australia I’d send you one. I have two of them.
