Hibernation

I am currently keeping a colony of Camponotus Floridanus. Where I live, the temperature hasn’t dropped below 48 yet, and I was wondering if I should put them into hibernation. I know most Camponotus ants will go into diapause and hibernation in winter(despite temperatures) but I am not sure about these.

I think that species doesn't hibernate. But I don't know for sure. Maybe someone else has more experience with this.

Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.
