HELP!!!
I caught a Camponotus novaeboracensis queen and put her in a test tube setup and woke up to see her in a pool of water the test tube flooded I think I made a mistake by ripping the cotton ball in half because in the tutorial for test tube setups he says to break it in half but mine we smaller I just realized, I made a new test tube without a queen to test but this time I didn't break the cotton ball in half, it's been about 3-4 hours and no leakage or anything, is it safe to put a queen inside?
Re: HELP!!!
Yes, it should be. Your test tube will flood is because your cotton ball is smaller than the one in the video.

Re: HELP!!!
If that's the case, then the ants are probably the ones causing the flood.CombinedHalo467 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 12:38 pmi did mine in a long tis vase once but even with u full size cotton ball it still flooded urs should be fine good luck
