Identifying carpenter ant queens
I've tried and failed to catch Black carpenter ants that are native to Utah (Camponotus Modoc) and every time it always ends up being a worker. I know that I need to look for the wing scars and a larger abdomen, but it's really hard to tell since the worker are the same size as the queen. Anything helps, thanks.
