The shipping of ants within a state. How are they packaged. Do they need ice packs? Do they need certain air flow? What packing materials are used? How long can they be in the mail? How hot can they get?

I'm not sure about packaging, but make sure you don't send them across state/country borders; it's illegal.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

In a tube without a water reserve. With bubble wrap. Depends on the weather. Packing peanuts, bubble wrap, etc. A few days depending on species. Most can’t get above 90 long term but it really depends on species.
