So, I was watching one of the youtube videos and he said the the 'Crazy Black Ants' wouldn't outgrow their the size of their home. It got me wondering what other species of ants might do this?

no tetramorium and pheidole will both exceed their living space if fed ample amounts of food. Can you give me a link to the video with a time index?
Proverbs 6:6-8

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

It depends on the potential size of the colony's species. Tetramorium can definitely outgrow their home very quickly.
