Normal behavior ?
So my queen Camponotus Novaeboracensis have had there first workers hatch about a week ago now and I noticed something weird when I fed them today the queen was the one gathering the honey and bug parts not the workers then she fed the workers just wondering if this was normal I always thought the works would be the ones doing this action

Re: Normal behavior ?
Sometimes the workers are too shy to go and get it themselves especially when they are recently eclosed. And a hungry queen doesn’t have time for her workers to get, she dives in herself.Darkhero0987 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 06, 2018 6:50 pmSo my queen Camponotus Novaeboracensis have had there first workers hatch about a week ago now and I noticed something weird when I fed them today the queen was the one gathering the honey and bug parts not the workers then she fed the workers just wondering if this was normal I always thought the works would be the ones doing this action
