Hello, ant people! I'm fresh faced and eager to capture my first queen!
I've always wanted to own an ant colony for as long as I can remember, never got the chance to.
I caught some videos on the AntsCanada Youtube channel and was reinvigorated! C:

Hoping to find a Prenolepis Imparis queen this spring. ^- ^

Hello. Welcome to the forum. I love the false honey pot ant! Closest thing I'll get to the real kind. I have them all around here in northern Georgia. Their nuptial flight should be starting soon. I'm hoping to catch some queens myself this year.
Good luck on your new colonies. You can always join the GAN project if you want a fertilized queen or an ant colony. The new AntsCanada website just updated and has some very cool new products! I recommend the hybrid nests! They are great for your genus specific ant species. The test tube holders and mini test tube portals are great too!
Have fun with collecting and happy holidays! :D

Best of luck in your queen search! I'm sure you'll find several as soon as it begins to warm up again up here in the Northern Hemisphere.

Welcome to the AntsCanada forum!
