Hello,
My daughter and I are very new to ant keeping and have just found, what we think, is our first queen. We live in Southeast Michigan in the United States. We were hoping for some help in identifying her. If she is not a queen we want to get her right back to her colony. If she is a queen, we are going to start getting supplies for the proper setup based on which kind she is.

Re: Identifying a queen
I thought I had attached it, I am not very tech savvy sorry. I did also put it in the comments under the most recent AntsCanada post on Facebook. She is definitely a queen as she has now laid her first eggs..
