Hello from the BC Southern Interior. Reaching out to see if there's anyone close by with any knowledge of tetramorium nuptial flights, just wondering if I missed the boat or not

not sure if you missed them. I just went for a walk today and i either found a camponotus or a tetramorium I am not sure I am leaning more towards camponotus but both Flights end of July for both species. I pulled a chart of common species of ants flights off of one of AntsCanada's videos; just waiting for the images to come to my email and I can upload em :)

Tetramorium are a little like Solenopsis;fast-growing, gargantuan, and somewhat aggressive.

I've seen this particular video, I'm just wondering if thats applied across the board since I live in a strange semi-arid desert in the cascade mountains. We have a climate like Arizona and I'm just curious as to whether or not that would make them fly sooner since we have our rainfall closer to March/April then nothing but 30-40°C, extremely dry weather until September.

It has been like that for us in the Kootenays as well. I found one queen today, but she is the first since May. I hardly even see any workers, other than the ones stealing my hummingbird nectar out of the feeder. It has been way too dry.
