moving ants

a little help would be appreciated. i got my first ant colony recently and they are ready for an extension to there test tube so i would like to add a test tube portal to it, but the test tube the ants are currently in is not AntsCanada and doesn’t fit what should i do

There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!

sorry another question, how would i feed them if it takes a while for them to move into the new test tube, and should i put food in the new or old test tube

If it takes a while, just put food in the old test tube (you don't want to make the new one mold).
