I'm moving into a motorhome, and I
wonder... Can I keep ants on the road

As long as you keep the temperature in the correct range and feed them it shouldn't be any different then keeping them in a house.

get a piece of soft foam to set the nest on. Remember they deal with adverse weather, ground tremors from anything that goes near an in ground nest so they should be fine.

If you cross state lines, would that be legal? I do not think it is legal to cross a state line with a queen ant. I could be wrong though.

P.S. I have A LOT of insulation foam leftover
from my build, I'll make sure to place enough
of it under my colony, once I get some ants.
