Does any one know the species of these ants?

I live in São Paulo, Brazil, and I recently made a trip to the city of São José dos Campos, and outside the urban area, I caught this colony of ants that I´ve been caring for over 2 weeks now. They seem to enjoy their set up and I´ve been giving them water and honey. I tried to feed them a couple of bugs but they didn´t show much interest.

Does anyone know the species of these ants and maybe have some tips on how to best care for them?

They are in a class jar, on dirt and grass that I collected from where I found them. I wasn´t sure I caught a queen but the broods seems to be growing in numbers. I can see them in the bottom of the jar with other ants caring for them.
