I'd like to say Hello and Welcome to all the new members of the AntsCanada Forum! I've been extremely busy this week (I install cable tv/internet/phone/security for a major cable provider) and haven't been able to say hello to each and every person that's posted. But I'm looking over the forum's every night to make sure everything's running smoothly and addressing any issues that may pop up.

New here, and super new in ant keeping, though I've been following and watching AntsCanada in youtube years ago.
I am no newbie in keeping insects as pets, I've kept 5 kinds of cockroaches (my favorite is giant madagascar hissing cockroach), Centipedes and scorpions. I now will venture in ant keeping by starting what I usually find, solenopsis geminata despite the fact that its colony can grow fast and scary lol! hoping to find trap-jaw ant queen soon (but some say it's queen is semi-claustral, which made it difficult for beginners like me) and sugar ants!! lol!

Hello to all. It might be a bit late since I joined a few days ago but I'm glad to be part of the AntsCanada community. I myself am kinda busy trying to help people with their antcolonies even tho I'm not a specialist in any way I still try to give general advices and help everyone even with antspecies which are unknown to me.

This way I will keep learning more about the ants of this planet and help the community.

I have currently a Messor Barbarus colony and the queen seems quite busy laying eggs and I am glad she does because the bigger she gets the sooner I can attach a first outworld to their setup to offer them some space or at least a garbage side.

I'm also trying to create many kinds of decorations like small bowls from cherry seeds or peach seeds. I even try to craft a big plate out of a mango seed shell which probably will be the hardest one for me yet. But I already found out loads by trying diffrent offerings and i found out they eat all kinds of fruitseeds I offer them. They even bring those straight to the queen.

For those interested in watching them live on twitch you can just go again and follow their progress whenever you like. The stream currently has no music since I have only one computer which can manage proper streaming but I already got something previewed as the streaming machine for the antstreams. ;D

Well I will try to help as good as possible with all the questions in the care taking section and hope to perhaps get some sort of rank which could label me as such a supporter.

I actually found out that I really love keeping ants and I'm putting a lot of effort into this. haha
