You could use fluon and I've heard stuff about olive oil but for the best results you should use fluon.
Camponotus Modoc: 2 workers, one cocoon, one mature larva, some other younger larvae, and eggs
Camponotus Hyatti: 1 worker, 1 soon-to-be worker, two cocoons, one larva, and some eggs

Species? Baby powder alone works for some large species, fluon is best for small and medium species

Geez! It was 20 when I bought it!
Bare talc powder for me works great, but here is cheaper fluon, not sure about shipping

Re: Ant escaping from my aquarium
Is it really the case with every campo? Mine also just are able to walk on it after a week. Do i really need to reapply the barrier each week
Ants I have-
camponotus compressus colony- the shadow warriors.
2x pheidoli parva queens (founding and will be sold/released)
Need more queens but mom won't allow it

Floun or talc?Talc I have to reapply every week to keep workers off, and fluon just does not work for me.Antloverhuman wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 11:15 amIs it really the case with every campo? Mine also just are able to walk on it after a week. Do i really need to reapply the barrier each week
