Myrmica Queen Alates waiting for nuptial flight. When will it happen?

Hey, I found a myrmica nest with queen alates who haven't had their nuptial flights yet. They're under a log that coexists with a Formica colony. I wonder when they will have their nuptial flight. It hasn't rained for a little while now, and it won't rain for another week in Alaska. So do you think they will have their nuptial flight before it rains or after? Even if it takes a week.

Here in Manitoba mymica incompleta usually have there nuptial flight sometime in august. But, if they already have alates in the nest then they will probably fly after the next rainfall.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. In my area there is a lot of alates in the nests and there is a lot of Myrmica nests around me. It doesn't rain til the 7th here so I'll wait and see.
