My Nephew dumped my new ant Colony
So I just got my ant colony yesterday, I dropped them off at home and had to run to the store, my girlfriends 6 year old nephew, took it upon himself to free the brand new colony and dumped the all the ants, queen included onto the table. my girlfriend proceeded to grab the ants with a rubber tweezers and put them back into the portal, I got back and tried to salvage what I could, the ants just hung out in the portal and didn't go back into the tube so I as gently as possible, picked up the Queen and a few ants with the rubber tweezers and put them In the tube, should I be worried?! I'm new to antfarms so this is uncharted territory for me any advice would be much appreciated
Re: My Nephew dumped my new ant Colony
Your colony should be fine as long as the queen is not harmed. You should probably put them somewhere they can't be disturbed by your Nephew.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]

Ok perfect, I didn't know he would be over, and I put them on the table, so ya. I hope they will be ok
