Queen Not Caring For Eggs!
A couple weeks ago, I bought a Solenopsis Invicta queen. She had a brood pile and a couple ants, the ants died of age and the eggs I think they disappeared lol. Ever since the ants died, my queen has been laying eggs, but she isn’t taking care of them. Can someone tell me why this is happening? I am worried for her and the eggs.

Re: Queen Not Caring For Eggs!
Okay so you need to let her in the dark and do not touch her for two weeks. She is stressed. Your queen can lay eggs but as long as she is stressed she will not care for her eggs. Maybe she may even eat her eggs if she is too stressed.
So put her in the dark for two weeks and I assure you she will have larvae the next two weeks.
Another possibility is you are just not seeing her care for her eggs.
But until then, bugging out.

Why did I even make a signature if I am just gonna say this.
