Hi everyone!
I've bought a Solenopsis fugax queen few weeks ago. I didn't move her from her original tube setup, but now the water supply is over. I've already connected the old tube to the new one, with new fresh water, but she didn't move to the new house over the past few days. I fear that one day I will find her dead because she doesn't move. What can I do? Is it better to wait or should I I invite her to move? Thank you all.

Re: Relocation
She's not going to let herself die.
Although the tube may look empty to you, the cotton may still be moist enough for her to hydrate herself. As long as she has access to the new test tube you should just leave her alone and she will move when she's good and ready.
If you want to be inpatient, you can use light/heat her old test tube and force her into the new test tube (which should be dark)

Thank you. Then it means I'll wait for her to move. I was thinking that she wasn't going to let herself die too. I don't want to use heat, maybe the light, but I think I'll be more patient.
