Hi can any one advise I found one winged ant in the feeding chamber is it a flight is it a one off ...?
Something more common ?
I have had the colony for 3 yrs from queen and small brood has grown well and has 4 nest chambers and 2 feeding chamber numbers around 10 000 maybe
Any advise pls

Ants dont regrow wings, or bud wings after eclosing. If this species is native to your area let the alates fly every year, otherwise they will lose 1-4 of their wings and act as workers for the colony.
