HELP ON KEEPING GOLDEN POLYRHACHIS DIVES ANTS

IS POLYRHACHIS DIVES POLYGYNOUS. IN MY COUNTRY THIS IS INDIA INFORMATION ABOUT ANTS ARE VERY HARD TO FIND AND GETTING TO KNOW WHETHER IT IS POLYGYNOUS OR IT IS SEMI CLAUSTRIAL. WHEN I CHECKED THE INTERNET IN ONE SITE A POLYRHACHIS DIVES KEEPER HAS WRITTEN, HE HAS A COLONY WITH THREE QUEENS. THE ANT HAS A GOLDEN ABDOMEN AND ONE SHOWN IN A ANTS CANNADA VEDIO

IF OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN KEEPING A MULTIPLE QUEEN COLONY OF POLYRHACHIS DIVES THEN ITS SAFE TO SAY YOU COULD TOO

Polyrhachis dives is a polygynous ant specie like most of the other weaver ants are however they aren't considered to be a fully weaver ants. Idk why but they do weave their nests with silk produced by young. Plus they are fully claustral ants.

i tried introducing a new queen and the old queen killed the new one.

Sorry to hear about your loss bud. Stuff like that can happen even in polygynous specie. Normally when merging colonies you don't want them merge on their own. What I mean is you should always merge colonies when you have spare time so that you could see the gradual outcome and if anything goes wrong, you can always interfere and prevent major accidents like the one you just encountered.

actually i was watching and let the new queen out immediately . And just put it in a different test tube and after a day when i checked it it had died.

Right now I have 2 Phidole sp. (I don't know the exact specie of Phidole family) queens and a tetramorium queen in test tube setup.

I have a golden polyrachis ant colony with 4 queens and they haven't killed each other yet so I believe they are polygynous
keeping:
all my queens died :(
got a sugar ant colony started :)
