Colony Budding 2.0

Greetings once again!
I have a question concerning the colony of my Solenopsis invicta.
Background info:
I put in 2 small test tubes as they flooded the old one, and this morning one alate(which may be a queen) and workers were in one tube, and the rest of the colony was in the other. Please refer back to previous topic if you do not know what colony budding is.

Is this colony budding?
When you accidentally reply to yourself…

One reason could be that their current test tube was crowded and some ants decided to go to the other test tube and expand the nest
Ants I have-
camponotus compressus colony- the shadow warriors.
Pls just let me have a tetramorium colony
