Queens with wings under black lights?

So I have not had much luck looking for queens by hand, and I heard that queens are attracted to black lights, so I purchased a black light. I was doing some YouTube searching about black light queen traps, and all the queens I saw still had their wings. After this I was concerned that these queens might not be matted. I know that ants can keep their wings, but this seems to be a rare occurrence. My question is, does the black light just distract the queen from pulling her wings off, or are they truly not mated?

I have caught 7 or 8 queens with wings around street lights, of those 5 raised nanitics. In my limited experience if you find them after they have flew, most are fertile.
