Queen ID please

Queen ID please
Hi, I live in middle sweden, stockholm. I have caught totally 4 queens, but have a very hard time pinning their geenus, I caught 2 of them today, so I have not gotten pics of them yet, but thease 2 I suppose actually are the same species right? can someone help me pls!

Hey! The way you posted the photos makes it where we can't see it. Here's two links, one to a video on how to post pictures, and the other on how to take pictures for ant identification. Formica sp. in the rufa group. They will need Formica (fusca group) pupae to survive.

No, they are parasitic. You need to give them the pupae so they will form a colony.

They also don't need to be from the fusca group. Any Formica pupae will do.
