Hello
I just found a pogonomyrmex californicus queen. Most people who keep this genus say that they do not do well in test tubes... Most would recommend a "Mini Hearth" for "pogos" because they provide the queen with a small forging area...
I really don't like how the the glass in held on by magnets though....
Please, Is there any way you can make a better founding chamber for pogo queens????
- one with open forging area
- escape proof( no walls held together by magnets)
- easy to hydrate
This would be awesome if it existed!!! I would buy tons of them

We are in the process of making a new product that will fill this need. Super excited about it! Hoping to have it available toward the end of the year.

We are making a new formicarium with small, medium and large sizes. The size small will be perfect for a founding formicarium and the young colony as it begins to grow.
