Hello everyone!

A few days ago, I received my starter kit from AC, and I am still waiting for the "All you need" pack for my Camponotus spp (2 x Pennsylvanicus and 1 x Novaeboracensis). They are still in a test tubes, so I haven't used any of the vinyl tubes yet. However, looking at the large vinyl tubing, I wonder if that is large enough for two Camponotus ants to cross path. Or even the queen and another Camponotus ant. Do you guys have any experience with Camponotus ants going through it? I feel like I should not even try the small Vinyl Tubes... My queens are about 15 mm long.

The inside diameter of the large tubing is ~9.5mm. I suspect the girth of your queen does not exceed that! :) She should be fine. She may have a little trouble turning around inside the tubing, but she can definitely pass through it with plenty of headroom. Workers would also be able to pass each other inside the tubing.
