Wow! Such a gorgeous ant. Their shade and texture of black is real unique. I wonder what the queen looks like. Great shot. I am a Camponotus fan!

It's the wrong colour for a cruentatus. The whole pic is a weird colour with a blueish tint :)

It was Camponotus Cruentatus alright, just with an affect as it was entered into a competition :)
