We live in a similar area, and I see workers of that spieces, but never queens
maybe they are so small you cannot see their nuptial flights
Big headed ants are usually visible. Smallest is phedolie Floridana that I have seen

I've pinned and locked the topic since the pictures are quiet good and clean looking.

The lock is only to prevent spam bots for using it as their spamming grounds.
Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.
