I need help with a queen

Hi during last nuptial flight in 2017 I found a Camponotus cf. semitestaceus nearn Tahoe Nv, Usa. I have her in a test tube but she still hasn't layed eggs and I am worried. Her wings are off. I would like some advice on the subject.

keep her in a dark place and don't disturb her. you can check on her every two weeks and then the should lay eggs if you have been doing that then don't worry sometimes it takes a couple days and even weeks for a queen to feel comfortable enough to lay eggs. (also since you are in Australia you might have to wait after hibernation for them to lay eggs
