Hello is it just me or does my queen ant have a stinger?Zoom in on her gaster and at the tip of it I see a little white-yellow cone and it looks like a stinger. If you can identify her species too that would be helpful https://drive.google.com/file/d/130k_EJuVCoiBAOqIFokDZtgZ-8jfNaSI/view?usp=drivesdk copy and paste this link into search bar to see her thank you in advance

Can you get a clearer image if can, thx

Even if a queen has a poison gland, it is not like they use the stinger, they don't use stinger so no need to be worried

Actually, queen ants will sting humans if it an aggressive species. Odonotmachus queen once tried to sting me. It has also been noted that queen ants sting their eggs to rid them of bacteria and/or viruses(Sourced from “The Ants” by E.O. Wilson(I think that is where I found it, if not it is a similar book))
