ID 2 queens

I found these 2 queens within the last couple days, and I was wondering what exact species they were. I'm pretty sure they are both formica of some kind, but I'm not sure.

I was also wondering if the one that is more dark in color is injured/less healthy. I noticed that she is more sluggish and one of the segments of her gaster is kinda sticking out. Should I be concerned or is this okay?

P.S. The one that is more brown has laid a couple eggs

Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.

A size in mm would help with spieces, and yes they do appear to be Formica.

As for the gaster issue, she may have been injured during flights or have a defect, but it sounds like she is mated(Clear lines between gaster segments?)
