Today was one of the best Nuptial Flights I've ever experienced! I didn't leave my on garden and I filled all 25 test tubes within 20 minutes!

Has anyone else had the same? Would love to see you Queens !

Here are some I caught, can anyone identify the species? - https://gyazo.com/f2da3d950d6b870f53baf28ca240a3f8

Lasius sp.

It's likely that most or all of them are Lasius niger.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.
