Hello fellow Ant-Keepers!
I'm new to this forum and I'm glad I found it in my desperate search for someone more experienced than I am.
I found this Ant in my room and was not quite sure if it is a Queen and which species it is, kinda thought about Lasius Flavus but was not sure.
I live in Vienna if this helps a bit more.
I would be really happy and thankful if someone could help me.
Thanks in advance!

The pics are very dark. We also need a measurement, as per the rules.

Re: Not sure if queen and which species
I'm sorry for the lack of length and it was somehow really hard to manage to take these pics without her running away. Today I'll probably put her in a testtube setup. Here are some more pics from her, she's between 7 to 8mm long.
If it is a queen without wings, does that mean she had her flight and is ready for laying eggs?

Hey Blackcesar
She is a queen. If you put her in a test tube setup and put her in a dark place she should lay eggs. Make sure and leave her alone for a week or so(I know its hard), or you will stress her out and she could either not lay or eat her own eggs. Watch some of antcanadas how to care for queen videos, they are great.

It is a queen. Lasius sp. I believe. Maybe Lasius brunneus but I'm really not sure.
