Hello everyone of the AntsCanada forums,
Around the end of May I was going through my Youtube subscriptions doing some spring cleaning so to speak. Even tho it wasn't really spring any more lol. Anyway I rediscovered the AntsCanada channel and after watching some videos, I on a whim decided to buy some test tubes and try my luck catching some queens.
Well I caught three and I would like some help IDing them. Any help you guys could give me would be great. Here are some pictures, hopefully they actually work.
Caught this one and the one below it at around 5:30am PST in Chilliwack, BC Canada within like 2 minutes of each other.
And I caught this one between like 12 - 3pm PST Hope, BC Canada
Thank you,
Jesse

We can’t see the pictures.
An ants' strength can be rivaled by few animals compared to relative body size.

Hmm nope that just puts the links down. I suppose that works but it doesn't make the photos just appear in the thread.

Hi i live in BC as well and to me the first two queens in your photos that are smaller look to be tetramorium species, possibly tetramorium immigrans which is quite common here in BC. However the last queen looks like camponotus, becuase of its black color it looks like camponotus pensylvanicus. These are loose guesses becuase its better to identify them through actually seeing them. I may be wrong as well if anyone thinks otherwise.
Ants are pretty cool
