I found a large Camponotus ant and would like a second opinion. Her thorax convinces me she is a worker. But she is a big girl. I am new to queen hunting and still not picking up the important details while in the field. So I would like your insight.
Found her today around 2pm. Good rain yesterday, warm day today.

Camponotus major worker.
An ants' strength can be rivaled by few animals compared to relative body size.

Thank you sir. Seems pretty obvious after examining her with the ol' magnifying glass. Guess I'll pin her, as I am unable to revisit that spot for about a week. I may need new glasses as well
