I need help IDing these two ladies to see if they or their sisters in my backyard would be suitable for my Lasius Umbratus queen.
Thanks

My camera is pretty crap so please forgive the low quality.

You'll be looking for something smaller than these Formica and Camponotus workers.

Well crap. Not sure what i am looking for then as the other ants are what i believe to be Tetramorium and some other variety that is even smaller and harder to get on camera. I read though your guide on introducing brood and workers so I understand that concept. How should I care for her until I can find the right workers?

Feed her sugar water every once in a while, and she should be fine.
