What are these?

I was searching for pogonomyrmex here in North Dallas the other day and I know they like open nests so I started thinking of a baseball diamond because they have good drainage and tend to stay dry. The field I was searching in was full of fire ants but I did see this humble mound, definitely not fire ant. I know it can be hard to identify without a microscope or a clear view of the gaster. Here is the video:

a good way to ID them would be to catch a worker or two and take pics at your house :D

They look like Pogonomyrmex to me.
"God made every kind of wild beasts and every kind of livestock and every kind of creeping things;" (including ants) "and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:25
