Ant (worker) ID
Hi, I have a bush outside my house, and on/under it lives some really nice looking ant species! I so badly want to know what they are! I have posted a youtube video where I show one as a stock clip, is it enough for you to ID the worker? Thanks alot!
You can see it from 0:08 to 0:25 Please say if you need more clips of it, thanks alot

Re: Ant (worker) ID
If you want badly to know what they are, I would take photographs and provide measurements (as per the rules).
A 1080p video has the same resolution as a 2 megapixel photograph, so there is very little potential for fine detail.

Camponotus is the only genus in your area (and mine) with a distinct major caste. These are probably Formica cinerea or F. lemani because of the silvery hairiness.

Formica sp. is what we know. I wouldn't call it either of those for sure without matching it to a key or species description.
