I found her crawling around in my backyard and I don't know what she is but, she is about a 3/4 of a cm long.
Found: Savannah, Georgia, USA
(These pictures are of the same ant)

I have her in a test tube setup just in case she's a queen :?:

Thanks! I have her in a makeshift test tube right now. I have been looking all summer for a queen :D I have watched many of AntsCanada's video's so I hope she'll do okay. I AM getting actual test tubes in the mail today though.

Again thank you!

Also, I still don't know what she exactly is though

I took these videos of different worker ant on my lawn that she might be. I don't know if this is any help. (I found her in the video filmed at night.)

She is a queen, but she will die. This is Lienpithema humile, and unless you get her 100-200 workers to start helping her lay eggs real fast, she will die. Also neither of those videos show the same species.

Get her some Linepithema humile workers. They are most likely the most common species around there.

Can't they found a colony by theirselves or why is it so?
