Hi I live in Iran/khorasan razavi/sabzevar and today 8/9/2017, I went queen hunting in a park near are house (it's a big park) .Well I was walking along went over a trail of ants collecting seeds from a weed and then I saw a ant that didn't fit in, so I scooped her in a test tube and WOW it was a queen collecting food for a colony with thousands of workers. After a few minutes I saw a another one collecting seed and in total I found three queens . I followed the third queen to make sure it's from that colony and it went all the way in the ant line to the colony entrance. The queens are fully black (12 mm) and the workers are red in the middle and black at the head and bottom they have majors and normal workers. The normal workers are about (6 mm) but the special thing the have in both types is the head and bottom is both round and about the same size. I hope you guys can help me out with at lest the genus.

After some research I'm pretty sure it's from the Messor genus.

Maybe it's a new species you can contact antcanada and see if they can help you get a specialist also if it is a new species they'll let you name it yourself!!! :D
Let us remember that even though ants are wonderful creatures, even more magnificent is their creator 😌
