They look like Camponotus Novaboracensis.

Chromaiodes or Noveboracensis? I'm not sure what the difference is.

Camponotus novaeboracensis (correct spelling), because of the shining gaster.

Sorry. Some people spelt it with the a, some spelt it with both the a and the e.

She's very calm I like queens like that cuz its like they want you catch them 😌

It's funny you say that...A. didn't seem to mind when I caught her and was very relaxed, she just sat on the honey spot for the pics. She had eggs by the next day, B. never settled and just kept pulling at the cotton in her test tube. So a couple of days ago I put her in a container with some mulch and pieces of an egg carton, she settled and starting laying eggs almost immediately. Figured she had already been through founding and wouldn't last, time will tell.
