I just caught the smallest queen I have ever seen. It's about half the size of a tetramorium queen. It is approx 4 - 5mm
Caught in Toronto on August 1
Can someone identify it? It was hard to get a macro shot as it is so small and quite active.

If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.

I think I caught the same type, I was about to release them because they were so small I thought they were workers.
