Hi can someone tell me what type of ant this is please, by the way i found her in australia where ilive, if that helps.

I caught two types of ant queen and I don't know what species they are. I think they are Lasius Niger but they do have reddish heads. (just to tell you know this is a old photo the red head started to convert kind of to a black color) Please tell me I'm a new ant keeper Ant photo:

Hi.
I caught a queen ant about three months ago during the afternoon.
Since then,a few workers have came.
Worker size: 0.5 cm
Queen size: 1.5 cm

I found a Queen Ant last night and can anyone help me identify this? I'm from Philippines currently living in Cebu Province. Length of the ant is 13mm.
